[Extendflash] "Flash 8 Compatibility" dialogue

I'm sorry to jump onto your thread, but don't you still have the same
problem? Doesn't the Save As also cause Flash to stop and show the Save
As dialogue, requiring user input? I've been looking for a way to bypass
that dialogue as we're currently keeping our FLA files a version behind
for compatibility with a client.

Thanks!

David C

Doh! I should check the publish profile and then do a "Save As..." to
the relevant format.

Sorry to answer my own qn,

Nick K.

Subject: [Extendflash] "Flash 8 Compatibility" dialogue

Hello All,

Does anyone know whether there is a way to bypass this dialogue ("This
file will be converted from a Flash MX 2004 or older format to Flash 8
format...") when saving? I am developing a batch updater and this
dialogue stops it - awaiting user input - which is a pain...

Many thanks in advance

Nick K.
