just have the errors traced. that way the errors appear on the output panel
as opposed to the IDE as a javascript error.

Subject: [Extendflash] Error creating Flash movie file. Destination
directory does notexist. Change your publish settings.

Hello All,

Is there a way I can handle the "Destination directory does not exist"
dialog that appears when a FLA is published? I am trying to automate a
batch process which runs across many FLAs, but this halts the script.
Ideally I would just like to capture the event, so that I can report the
error and move on to the next FLA. I have tried try…catch but it still
throws the "Destination directory does not exist" dialog halting the script
until user intervention...

I guess that if I could get the FLA's publish-path then I could work out for
myself whether it is valid, but I can not find the publish path either…

Many thanks in advance,

Nick K.
