[Extendflash] Soften Fill Edges

Right, I currently have a command which takes a selected image and creates a
rounded corner mask, applies a stroke, creates a layer with a 40% opacity
fill, offsets it by several pixels to the right and left, I then have to
manually use the soften fill edges in order to create the soft shadow effect
I want.
I know there are those who will argue this causes files size bloat, but it
falls within the acceptable limits of the project. I use this effect
repeatedly for thousands of images, and I'm looking to do away with the
monotony of the extra mouse clicks.

Hmmm.... You could use that argument to do away with all of extensibility.
My guess is that he's using soften fill edges as a part of a larger set of
actions in a command or something.
